Award-Winning Alternative Urban Duo, BLKWTR Releases New Single, "TEMPORARY" In Anticipation of Debut Self-titled Album

"Temporary" was written by Stevie Notes and co-written and produced by Erick Walls. "Temporary, holds a deeply personal significance for BLKWTR, drawing inspiration from a true story," mentions the duo. While the band's music typically explores a range of perspectives, this track is rooted in the experience of lead singer Stevie Notes, whose wife, and the band's first manager, tragically passed away before they’re full potential came to fruition. The song reflects the bittersweet beauty of life’s fleeting moments, honoring the lasting impact of her love and support, which, though temporary, played a crucial role in the band's journey.

"We hope that anyone who hears this song will feel a sense of community, especially those who have experienced the loss of someone or something they love. Additionally, we aim to inspire a sense of urgency in cherishing the people around you while you still have the chance," adds BLKWTR.

BLKWTR's forthcoming debut album, "BLKWTR" will be released later this March, under the new label partnership with the SRGILS Group (Virgin Music/Universal Music Group).
